2005 White House Conference on Aging Policy Committee to Meet

The Policy Committee for the 2005 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA) will hold its sixth meeting to plan for the implementation of the Conference to be held December 11 to 14, 2005 in Washington, D.C. The Committee will continue its conversation about the 2005 Conference, the Agenda and Conference format.

The Committee is honored to have presentations from Richard Jackson, Ph.D., Director and Senior Fellow, Global Aging Initiative, The Center for Strategic and International Studies who will discuss global aging; Jon Pynoos, Ph.D., UPS Foundation Professor of Gerontology Policy, Planning and Development Director of the Division of Policy and Services Research at the University of California who will discuss housing, and Barbara D. Bovbjerg, Director, Education, Workforce and Income Security, Government Accountability Office who will discuss the older workforce.
