2005 WHCoA Executive Director to Participate in Massachusetts Governor’s Conference on Aging
Scott V. Nystrom, Executive Director of the 2005 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA), will address the Massachusetts Governor’s Conference on Aging in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday, June 6, 2005. Dr. Nystrom will provide an update on the progress of the 2005 WHCoA, and will encourage Conference participants to be visionary and thoughtful as they deliberate on the issues of concern to current and future older citizens of Massachusetts. Input from the Conference will assist the WHCoA Policy Committee in planning for the WHCoA scheduled to occur on December 11 to 14, 2005 in Washington, DC.
The mission of the WHCoA, which is held once a decade, is to report policy recommendations to the President and Congress which are designed to help guide national aging policies for the next ten years and beyond.
