2005 White House Conference on Aging Policy Committee to Hold Fifth Meeting

The Policy Committee for the 2005 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA) will hold its fifth meeting to plan for the implementation of the Conference to be held this fall in Washington, D.C. The Committee will continue its conversation about the 2005 Conference, the Agenda and Conference format.

The Committee is honored to have presentations from Mr. David Eisner, CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service, who will highlight the potential for tapping the coming wave of baby boomers who are soon to reach age 60 to meet pressing social needs and increase civic engagement. Also, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation Michael O’Grady, Ph.D., will provide an overview on long term care.
