Scott Nystrom, Ph.D., Executive Director of the 2005 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA) will address the Mississippi Association of Planning and Development Districts Conference in Biloxi, Mississippi on March 30, 2005.

Dr. Nystrom will discuss the significance of the 2005 WHCoA at a time of unprecedented national longevity and the importance of Regional, State and local input as the Policy Committee continues to plan for the 2005 WHCoA, scheduled to occur from October 23 to 26, 2005 in Washington, D.C.

The mission of the WHCoA, which is held once a decade, is to report policy recommendations to the President and Congress which are designed to help guide national aging policies for the next ten years and beyond.
